A 10-year-old girl was injured when he was struck by a car Monday afternoon in Egg Harbor Township.
Kelli Bonner, 52, of the township, was heading north on Spruce Avenue in a 2010 Honda Accord when she struck the bicyclist, who had ridden out into the roadway from Lucille Drive just before 4 p.m., Lt. Robert Gray said.
The child was treated at the scene by members of the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare paramedics. She was then taken to the Trauma Unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City with moderate injuries.
This crash is being investigated by Officer Patrick Daly of the Egg Harbor Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit.
