Three sought in armed Hamilton Township home invasion

  • News
Three masked men forced their way into a Hamilton Township home early Saturday morning, duct-taping two people and pistol-whipping a 63-year-old man, police said. They also stole multiple guns from the home, according to the report. The three men armed with handguns forced their way into the home on Merion Court at about 2:25 a.m., and bound the man and a 58-year-old woman with duct tape, the victims told police. They also pistol-whipped the man, who suffered an eye injury as a result. A 14-year-old girl was also inside the home. She was not bound, according to the report. The suspects stole several items, including jewelry and other items. The specific number of handguns taken from the home was not given. The male victim was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Campus in Galloway Township by the Hamilton Township Rescue Squad for his injury. There was little description of the suspects other than black males wearing all black, including masks and gloves. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Detective Robison at 609-325-2700, ext. 578. Information may also be messaged on Facebook or given anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 609-652-1234.
