Egg Harbor Township police are looking for two suspects in an armed home invasion.
Two armed men wearing masked approached the victims outside their residence on Princeton Avenue in the township's Scullville section at about 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, they told police.
They were ordered into the garage and their hands were duct taped as items were stolen from the home, according to the report.
Both suspects were described as thin black men. One was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a "Halloween hockey mask," Detective Capt. Christopher Ruef said. The other was wearing a dark-colored mask covering half of his face.
Two handguns and other evidence were left behind, police said.
"Investigators feel that this is an isolated incident that does not present an increased risk to other residents living in the area," Ruef said.
The New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit, the Pleasantville Police Department and the Hamilton Township Police Department assisted with the preliminary investigation.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Egg Harbor Township police at 609-927- 4051 or Crime Stoppers at 609-652-1234.
