An Egg Harbor Township man was killed in crash late Tuesday morning.
Kyle Platt, 32, of Egg Harbor Township, was traveling west on Somers Point Mays Landing Road when a car driven by Louis Salotto made a left turn in front of him at English Creek Avenue, police said.
Salotto, 61, suffered multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police responded at 11:19 a.m., and Somers Point Mays Landing Road was closed for about three hours. The Scullville Volunteer Fire Company and Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office assisted at the scene.
The crash is being investigated by Officers Robert Moran, Kevin Devlin and Louis Poletis. No summonses have been issued at this time.
