Man sought in fraudulent prescription case

  • News
State Police are asking for help in a fraudulent prescription investigation. An unidentified man went into the CVS Pharmacy in Upper Township with a prescription for medication at about 7:30 p.m. April 17, police said. When the pharmacist couldn't validate the prescription, the suspect went to another pharmacy in Marmora, where he was able to get the drugs, police said. He is described as a short white male with a thin build and multiple tattoos on his neck, chest and right hand. A tattoo on his face resembles a tear or star under one of his eyes, and his eyelids were reported to be tattooed red. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap and a black running suit with white stripes. Surveillance photos of both the suspect and a black SUV he left in have been released. The SUV resembles a 2018 Ford Expedition. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Ramon Ortiz in the Woodbine Station at 609-861-5698.
