The community continues to come out in a big way as Thanksgiving approaches.
Saturday saw hundreds fed and given essentials as Faceless Fashion Apparel and JP Ministries both held events.
The Boys and Girls Club's Youth Exposure helped prepare 300 bags, with 200 distributed, said Franki Hall-Watson of Faceless Fashion.
About 200 bags were distributed Saturday, with meals made by Tamika Battle.
JP Ministries, headed by Pleasantville's James Pressley, fed nearly 350 Saturday at the Turning Point Day Center.
The event was a group effort that included Nikki Goines, Erica Marshall, Tracy Brandon and Young Hitta.
Those who stopped by to help included Atlantic County Sheriff Eric Scheffler.
The group also distributed hats, gloves, blankets and other items to help keep the homeless warm this winter.
But the giving didn't end this weekend.
The Community Food Bank and Pleasantville firefighters are teaming up Monday to give out Thanksgiving meals.
Distribution is to Pleasantville families only, and will be done from 10 a.m. to noon at 17 N. First St.
