Happy Friday (December) the 13th aka National Cocoa Day! Those of you who know me well know that I LOVE cocoa! And yes, I call it cocoa - not hot chocolate (not that there's anything wrong with that). With the first measurable snow in South Jersey now in the record books - it's a perfect way to warm up this holiday season.
Granted, temperatures will be pushing 50 for most us today, but those numbers will be plunging once again before we know it and besides - does one really need freezing temperatures to enjoy a delicious cup of warm chocolatey goodness? In my opinion - no. Of course, this is coming from someone who has been known to drink hot chocolate in the July. Either way, if you're looking to cozy up on the couch this weekend, grab a mug and get ready to celebrate National Cocoa Day with a cup full of this liquid holiday treasure.
