A car stop led Hamilton Township police to a large amount of heroin and a man wanted on a warrant.
The car was stop at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday near milepost 41 on Route 322, police said.
The front seat passenger, Falmata Ali, was wanted on a warrant.
Ali, 19, was found with 1,300 bags of heroin, a clear bag with .3 of an ounce of unpackaged heroin, a digital scale and a large amount of money, according to the report.
Ali was charged with possession of heroin, distribution of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed on a a warrant and then sent to the Atlantic County jail, police said.
