A man was killed in an Atlantic City shooting late Thursday night, BreakingAC has confirmed.
Police were called to the first block of South Florida Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. for a ShotSpotter alert that shots were fired, according to the police report.
A crime scene was found in front of a home just north of where the victim was found.
No one has been charged in the shooting at this time.
juvenile was arrested after running from a vehicle seen leaving the scene, the report said.
He was seen throwing an object from his waistband into the bay at Nevada Avenue.
handguns were later found in that area.
The teen was charged with possession of the handguns, obstruction and resisting arrest. He is being held at Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating. The office has not yet released any information in the case as the investigation continues.
