Pregnant EHT woman, boyfriend arrested after she's found passed out in car with two babies

An Egg Harbor Township couple was arrested on drug charges after the woman was found passed out in a parked car with two infants inside.Atlantic City police were called to the Renaissance Plaza parking lot at 10:41 a.m. Thursday for the report of a pregnant woman passed out in the vehicle with two children, according to the report.A man was seen walking back and forth in the lot.When Officer Auttika Taing arrived, he found Randi Sleister — who is pregnant — and Matthew Williford inside with two infants, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. Sleister was not awake when Taing arrived, according to the report.Willford was arrested after marijuana and hydrochloride were found in the vehicle.Sleister was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus for evaluation.She was found in possession of heroin, Fair said.Williford, 37, and Sleister, 41, were both charged with drug possession, along with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia.Both are in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.The Department of Child Protection and Permanency was notified and responded. The babies were turned over to a family member.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office says it’s part of the Attorney General’s Guidelines. There is no such guideline, according to the Attorney General’s Office, but they have told these offices for years that they should not release any photos that appear to be mugshots.
