A teen girl was wounded in a shooting early Monday morning.
Police were called to the 1000 block of Brigantine Boulevard at 1:35 a.m. for a ShotSpotter alert, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Officers found evidence of gunfire, but no victim.
A short time later, a 16-year-old girl from Atlantic City arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus suffering from a gunshot wound.
The injury is not considered life-threatening.
The girl's name is not being released due to her age.
