An Egg Harbor Township crash took out a traffic signal and sent three people to the hospital Monday morning.
Steven Sanders, 58, of Galloway Township, was driving east on Dogwood Avenue when he collided with Cynthia Kern, 62, of Somers Point, who was driving south on English Creek Avenue, Sgt. Larry Graham said.
The impact sent Sanders' vehicle off the road and into the control box for the traffic signal, according to the report.
The intersection was partially closed for an hour and stop signs were placed at the intersection to control traffic on Dogwood.
Kern, Sanders and his passenger were all taken to the hospital for treatment.
Traffic Safety Officers Bob Moran, Jim Ludwig and Tom Rizzotte are investigating.
Charges are pending the investigation.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police at 609-926-2661.
