An Atlantic City man was arrested after a motor vehicle stop revealed he had drugs, but no license or registration, police said.
Tony Jones, 53, was pulled over in the beach block of Park Place just after noon Monday, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Officers Kevin Perez and William Akins found that Jones could not provide any identification and his vehicle was neither registered nor insured, according to the report.
During the stop, the officers learned Jones' driver's license was suspended. In addition, the temporary license plate on the vehicle did not match the registration, Fair said.
Jones was then found to have 125 bags of heroin and more than 12 grams of cocaine, according to the charges.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.

On May 17, 2021, a man with two counts each of drug possession, possession with the intent to distribute and possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone. He also was issued several motor vehicle summonses.
Jones was released on a summons.
