A Mays Landing woman was killed and another injured in a motorcycle crash in Atlantic City this weekend.
A 50-year-old Vineland man was driving the motorcycle in the 300 block of North Delaware Avenue at about 8:10 p.m. Saturday when it left the roadway, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Both the driver and passenger were thrown from the motorcycle, according to the report.
The passenger, 36-year-old Naisha Peterson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, whose name was not released, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus with serious injuries.
Police did not say if the two were wearing helmets.
The cause of the crash is under investigation with assistance from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
