A Vineland man was allegedly drunk when he crashed his motorcycle in 2021, killing his passenger.
Joseph J. Melini, 50, was charged with vehicular homicide Monday, and released on a summons.
Melini was riding his 2005 Harley Davidson in the 300 block of North Delaware Avenue when he left the roadway around 8:10 p.m. Oct. 30, 2021.
Both he and his passenger, Naisha Peterson, were thrown from the motorcycle.
Peterson, 36, of Mays Landing, was pronounced dead at the scene. She left behind three children ages 3 to 19.
Melini was sent to the hospital.
