A grand jury indicted a Vineland man this week in a crash that killed his passenger.
Joseph J. Melini, 50, was allegedly drunk when he crashed his motorcycle in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue at about 8:10 p.m. Oct. 30, 2021.
His passenger, 36-year-old Naisha Peterson of Mays Landing, was pronounced dead at the scene.
She left behind three children, ages 3 to 19.
An investigation led to charges in June.
Melini was charged on a summons and has not been jailed in the case.
