An Absecon man died after he was struck by a car while crossing the White Horse Pike last week.
Samuel Bayley was not in the crosswalkwhen he was struck by a vehicle driven by Jessica Shannon at about 6 p.m. near Haddon Avenue, police said Friday.
Bayley, 50, died from his injuries.
Shannon, 41, of Atco, remained at the scene.
The road was reduced to one lane for about four hours while the crash was investigated.
