An Ocean County man struck two pedestrians were in the road in Absecon late Friday night, police said.
It was unclear why the two were on Route 30, according to police.
Alan Sitnik, 74, of Manahawkin, struck the two in the west lanes of Absecon Boulevard at about 11 p.m.
Investigators are seeking anyone who witnessed the crash or any activity before it occurred.
