A three-vehicle crash shut down part of New Road in Linwood on Monday.
The crash happened at about 10:46 a.m. near Melody Lane, Chief Steve Cunningham said.
A Jeep was heading north on New Road when it struck a white Mercedes from behind, according to the report. the Jeep then bounced into the southbound lane, where it collided with a black Mercedes that was heading south.
All three vehicles were towed from the scene, due to the damage they sustained in addition to airbag deployment, Cunningham said.
One person was taken to the hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening. A baby was in one of the vehicles, but was not harmed.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Sgt. Brandon Settle and Officer Chris Nazha.
