Pleasantville teen wounded in shooting

A Pleasantville teen was wounded in a shooting Tuesday evening.

Police were called to the area of West Pleasantville Avenue and Main Street for a ShotSpotter alert indicating two rounds were fired at about 6:30 p.m., Capt. Stacey Schlachter said.

Patrol units arrived to find Na-Eem Wilson, 18, with a gunshot wound to his left arm near his wrist, according to the report.

He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment.

Police found two spent shell casings in the area.

There was no information on the suspect other than a man in a red sweatshirt was seen fleeing the scene.
