One teen is now charged with murder in the fatal shooting of another teen in Bridgeton last week.
Bridgeton police responded to Mount Vernon Street at 8:50 p.m. June 25 for a male wounded in a shooting.
A 16-year-old was arrested for the crime Friday in Bridgeton, Webb-McRae announced Monday.
He is also charged with conspiracy to commit murder, destruction of evidence, hindering apprehension and obstruction.
His name is not being released due to his age.
The charges seem to indicate that others may have been involved, but no other information about the case has been released at this time.
The Prosecutor's Office will move for detention, Webb-McRae said.
The teen is in juvenile detention.
The investigation is ongoing.
