Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened in the area of Franklin Boulevard and West Jersey Avenue, Capt. Stacey Schlachter confirmed.
The man was found on the steps of the Baitul Nasr Masjid, but that is not where he was shot, Schlachter said.
A photo sent to BreakingAC shows the steps with what appears to be blood. An empty wheelchair is at the foot of the steps, but it was not clear if that belonged to the victim.
No further information was immediately available.
