  • News

An Egg Harbor Township motorcyclist was injured in a crash Sunday evening.

Kevin Selby, 42, was riding a 2023 off-road Yamaha TTR125, when he was struck at about 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Tremont and Main avenues, Lt. John Heim said.

Magdy Abdalla, 49, of the township, was driving north on Tremont Avenue when Selby entered the roadway from a heavily wooded trail at Main into Abdalla's lane of travel, according to the report.

Selby sustained significant injury to his right leg and was taken to AtlantiCare Medical Center's City Campus in Atlantic City by the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad, Heim said.

Main Avenue was closed at Tremont for about two hours while the scene was cleared, according to the report.

Officer Nathan Lahr is investigating the crash. Motor vehicle summonses are pending.
