A Mays Landing man was sentenced to four years in prison Tuesday, after admitting to an assault that knocked out his girlfriend's teeth.
LaQuay Taylor, 33, previously pleaded guilty to third-degree aggravated assault.
He was taken into custody following his sentencing Tuesday.
Police were called to the Travelodge in Absecon on March 23, for report of a domestic violence incident.
Officers found the lobby bleeding from her mouth and missing several teeth, according to the report.
The woman got into an argument with Taylor inside their hotel room, and it turned physical, police learned.
Taylor chased the victim down in the hallway, and then struck her several times with a closed fist.
He then fled the scene, and was arrested on a warrant a short time later.
