An alert brought police to the scene of a shooting Thursday night in Pleasantville.
Police arrived at the first block of Walnut after just after 10 p.m. to find five spent shell casings in the road, Chief Stacey Schlachter said.
The alert came from the ShotSpotter audio gunshot-detection system.
There was damage to a detached garage at a nearby home and a vehicle in the driveway, she said. No injuries have been reported.
A dark-colored sedan fled the area toward Main Street.
The incident comes less than a week after a man was wounded in an early morning shooting Saturday in the 1300 block of New Road. The shooter fled in the victim's truck, which was later recovered.
No arrests have been made.
