Milani Hill was presented her certificate by Mayor Marty Small and library Board of Trustees President Libbie Wills.
Milani Hill has become an important part of the Atlantic City Free Public Library.
The 16-year-old resident volunteered more than 200 hours in the library's Youth Services Department last year.
The dedication earned her the President’s Volunteer Service Award for the second year in a row.
The gold-level award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation, while inspiring those around them to take action.
Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small and library Board of Trustees President Libbie Wills presented Hill with her certificate at the library’s last monthly board meeting.
“Milani's dedication to serving the community is truly inspiring,” Atlantic City Free Public Library Director Melissa McGeary said. “Her leadership, dependability, and enthusiasm for service shine through in everything she does — whether she's shelving library materials, assisting with youth programs, or representing the library at community events. We're very proud of her well-deserved recognition.”
Hill has volunteered in the library's Youth Services Department since 2023.
