An Atlantic City man was jailed after allegedly robbing a casino employee.
A 54-year-old Galloway Township woman told police Monday that she was getting out of her car at the Caesars Atlantic City parking garage when a man pushed her back into her car, grabbed her purse and ran, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Caesars security officers were able to track the suspect as he fled. The purse was found, but her money and cell phone were gone, according to the report.
Surveillance photographs were distributed to all officers in an attempt to identify Reynolds, Fair said.
Then, at 11:30 that night, Officers Ryan Kov and Bryan O'Neill saw a man matching the photo in the 1400 block of Atlantic Avenue, according to the report.
Qashawn Reynolds, 20, was arrested without incident.
He had the woman's cell phone, Fair said.
Reynolds is charged with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property.
He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Reynolds was arrested two years ago as one of three teens allegedly driving around in a stolen car. At the time, he was wanted for cutting off his electronic monitoring bracelet, police said.
