Complaints about drugs in Atlantic City led to the arrest of seven people, along with drugs and money.
Detectives recovered more than 140 bags of heroin, 1½ ounces of cocaine, narcotic paraphernalia and more than $4,500 in cash over two days.
Four men and a woman were arrested Thursday as a result of a surveillance operation sparked by complaints of drug use and dealing, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
The investigation also led to a warranted search of a home in the same block Friday.
The target, 26-year-old Donald Schaeffer, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute and possession within a school zone. He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Also arrested at the residence was Jonte Queen, 29, who was wanted on a contempt of court warrant. The 29-year-old man was also jailed.
Natqwan Cameron, 40, and Francis Schwartz III, 51, both of Atlantic City, were charged with possession, possession with intent to distribute and possession within 500 feet of a public zone. They were released on summonses.
The following were charged with possession of CDS: Kimberly Furchak, 47, of Pleasantville; Norman Richardson, 65, of Atlantic City, and Rocco Murro, 25, of Manahawkin.
They were released on summonses.
