Two men have been arrested in a Pleasantville shooting that damaged a car earlier this month.
A ShotSpotter alert brought officers to the area of 1006 S. Main St. just after 1 a.m. June 13.
The audio gunshot-detection system showed that one gunshot had been fired in the area, Capt. Matt Hartman said..
While police were checking the area, communications got a call from the victims, who were at the Northfield Police Station, according to the report.
The victims said they were shot at and their vehicle was damaged, Hartman said.
An investigation led by Mike Figueroa resulted in charges against Atlantic City residents Luis Lendof and Rafael Anglon-Reyes.
Lendof, 25, and Anglon-Reyes, 24, are charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, criminal mischief and conspiracy. Both were taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Anglon-Reyes was released following a detention hearing Friday.
