Three days with no new COVID-related deaths in Atlantic County

  • News

There have been no new deaths related to coronavirus in Atlantic County for the past three days.
Thirteen more residents have tested positive, including an 8-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy.
The newly confirmed cases include five from Pleasantville and two each in Hamilton Township and Ventnor.
There was one new case each in Buena Borough, Margate, Mullica Township and Northfield.
The county has a total of 3,230 positives with 1,819 residents cleared as recovered.
Testing continues at the drive-through facility behind the county Public Works yard in Northfield at Route 9 and Dolphin Avenue.
Those being tested need only an appointment and proof of residency. Symptoms and a doctor's prescription are no longer required. But there are currently no openings for the next testing date on Tuesday. Those with appointments who can't make it are asked to cancel to allow those spots to be filled.
