A body discovered by fishermen Saturday morning has been positively identified as a Camden County man who went missing off the Ocean City beach.
The man was found floating in the Great Egg Harbor Inlet between Longport and Ocean City at about 6 a.m. Saturday, more than a week after Jabed Ikbal went missing off an unprotected beach on the Great Egg Harbor Inlet just south of the Ocean City-Longport Bridge.
A two-day search turned up nothing.
Ikbal, 24, of Clementon rescued two family members from the water before disappearing himself around 7 p.m. July 12.
