The 10-year-old girl who died after being shot at her home has been identified.
Jasayde Holder just completed fourth grade at the Dane Barse School in Vineland, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said.
The girl was shot at her home in the 700 block of West Earl Drive on Sunday night, in an apparent drive-by. Investigators are trying to determine the intended target.
Jasayde was described by her family as creative. She loved music and riding her bike.
Police were called to the Inspira Medical Center in Vineland at about 11:17 p.m., according to the report.
Anyone with surveillance cameras within the areas of West Earl Drive, East Earl Drive, Earl Drive and Park Towne Apartments, Diane Court, or Mary Court and Shirley Court (in the area of South West and West Chestnut avenues) is asked to share any footage from Sunday night between 9:30 and 11:30.
