A 14-year-old girl and a woman were wounded in a shooting early Sunday morning in Millville.
About 40 rounds were fired, Police Chief Ross Hoffman said.
Officers were called to the 500 block of North Sixth Street at 4:45 a.m., the chief said.
The 14-year-old girl was struck in the chest and was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where she is in stable condition, according to Hoffman.
The 36-year-old woman was struck in the leg. She was treated at Inspira in Vineland and released.
The investigation is ongoing.
