Local author and historian Loretta Thompson Harris will be introducing her just-released book, “Ocean City’s Westside – Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges,” at a book signing Saturday, Aug. 10, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ocean City Historical Museum.
The book is the second installment of Thompson Harris’ three-book series detailing the history of Ocean City’s Westside neighborhood. The book recounts the experiences and significant contributions of the African American community in the development of Ocean City.
The book will be available for purchase at the museum, and attendees may have them signed by the author.
Light refreshments will be served.
