A Cape May County man already jailed for possession and distribution of child sexual assault materials is now accused of manufacturing it as well.
Javish Roman, 21, of Rio Grande, was arrested March 14, after a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children found someone was distributing images through a third-party application.
Several items were seized at the time, with analysis pending, authorities said at the time.
The subsequent analysis found that roman exchanged video and photographs with an out-of-state juvenile engaging in prohibited sexual acts, said Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and Chief Michael Emmer..
Investigators also found more than 1,000 items containing child sexual abuse materials, according to the new charges.
Roman now faces additional charges of first-degree manufacturing of child pornography, and second- and third-degree charges of endangering the welfare of a child.
He remains in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
