A Galloway Township resident admitted to possession of child sexual abuse materials while on parole for a similar crime.

Evangeline Snow, 28, was arrested in July 2023, after state parole agents searched Snow's residence for suspicions of a violation.

When parole officers seized Snow's phone, the suspect admitted it would contain illegal images of minors, according to the charges.

Snow had been out of prison 10 months at the time, state Department of Corrections records show.

Snow — who is listed as female in some records and male in others — was sent back to Northern State Prison as a result. Snow was released after completing the remaining time on the previous sentencing, and has been in the Atlantic County Justice Facility since Sept. 11, records show.

Snow is tentatively set to be sentenced April 21, although that likely will change since an evaluation as the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center at Avenel must first be conducted. It is required of all sexual offenders.

Snow also will have to register under Megan's Law.

Snow previously was listed as Brandon Heaton.
