A Pleasantville woman faces 27 years in prison in a 2018 attack that left a woman dead and her husband wounded.
Rollie Ellis pleaded guilty Thursday to the April 11, 2018, attack inside the couple's apartment at 3 S. Iowa Ave., Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
Ellis, now 30, got into an altercation with Raphy and Jennifer Rodriguez, both 34, inside the apartment.
Jennifer Rodriguez escaped out a window, and ran to the Atlantic City Police Department across the street, where she collapsed.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Raphy Rodriguez also escaped, and flagged down a police officer.
He was taken to the hospital with several serious stab wounds, but survived.
Ellis was charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Under the plea agreement, she faces 20 years in prison for aggravated manslaughter and seven years in prison for aggravated assault.
She would have to serve at least 85 percent of any sentencing under the No Early Release Act.
