The investigation continues into a crash that killed a Galloway Township man Sept. 25.
Dustin Miller was struck some time before 4:30 a.m. Sept. 25, as he apparently walked home in the morning fog along Route 30.
The driver, whose name has not been released, told police she thought she struck something, but wasn't sure due to the foggy conditions. She continued home to Galloway, where she called police.
About an hour after her 4:30 a.m. call, a shoe was found near mile marker 54, leading to a body in the marsh.
Miller, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Saturday, Miller was remembered as a traveler who took more joy in the time spent with those who accompanied him than the adventures themselves.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help with funeral expenses as well as to be donated to various causes Miller was passionate about.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. While alcohol was not believed to be a factor, toxicology results are pending.
