An investigation into the death of an 11-year-old Pennsylvania boy has led to Cape May County.
Matthew Whitehead's father found the boy dead around 7 Tuesday morning, in the locked master bedroom where he and his mother had slept in their Horsham Township home, according to a news release from the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
Daniel Whitehead called police to say he found his son dead and his wife and her SUV missing, the release said.
Police were still at the home when Ruth DiRienzo-Whitehead's black Toyota Highlander was found partially submerged in the ocean just off Beach Avenue, according to the report.
DiRienzo-Whitehead was found alive in Wildwood Crest.
She was being questioned by police, according to the District Attorney's Office.
No criminal charges have been filed at this time. Matthew's cause of death is pending an autopsy.
DiRienzo-Whitehead is a Realtor, according to her social media, which shows a connection to Cape May County.
She and her husband celebrated 12 years of marriage in August, where she posted a photo of their wedding and tagged it at Congress Hall in Cape May.
In July, she posted a link to a bid auction for a home on Seaview Avenue in Wildwood Crest.
"Great corner lot in the Crest ready for your dream beach home!" she wrote. "Join all the other beautiful homes being built in this great town."
