An Atlantic City man charged in a shooting last year has been arrested in a robbery.
A 27-year-old man told police Friday that three men robbed him at knife point in the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. They took his wallet and cell phone after cornering him against a wall, he told police.
At
9 p.m., Officers Ryan Kov, Thomas Gilardi, Auttika Taing and Rick Lasco stopped a group of males near the spot of the robbery. Two of the men, Messiah Henry and Robert Timmons, were taken into custody after it was determined that they were involved in the robbery.
Henry, 21, is already charged in a shooting that Audrey Green, 25, on Feb. 3, 2016.
He and Robert Timmons, 23, also of Atlantic City, are now both charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and theft. They are being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
The identity of the third suspect is under investigation, said Sgt. Kevin Fair.
