An Egg Harbor Township man charged in a 2015 shooting was sentenced to five years in prison earlier this month.
Elvis Gonzalez, now 24, was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses in the Nov. 8, 2015, shooting of a 30-year-old Pleasantville man in Atlantic City.
He pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon, and was sentenced Feb. 2 to five years in prison, according to court records. He will be ineligible for parole for a year.
