A man was taken into custody after barricading himself inside his Atlantic City apartment, police said Wednesday.
A large police presence was at the scene starting around 4:10 p.m., witnesses said.
The suspect, whose name was not released, threatened an employee of the property at 101 Boardwalk, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
SWAT and K-9 officers were among the heavy police presence surrounding the area.
Officers were able to get the man to surrender without incident, Fair said.
He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for evaluation.
