A Brick Township man is accused of helping a woman destroy evidence after she fatally stabbed her fiance, according to new charges.
Ramelo Adonis, 37, was charged with hindering apprehension in the death of Dennis Power, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer and Brick Township Police Chief James Riccio said Wednesday.
Power, 35, was found unconscious and bleeding in a vehicle outside the Ocean Medical Center on Sunday.
Medical personnel were unable to save him.
An investigation found that the man's fiance, Ciara Williams, had driven him to the hospital and then left him there, Billhimer previously said.
She is now jailed on murder and weapons charges.
Adonis is now charged with helping Williams destroy and remove evidence from the crime scene, according to the charge.
He was processed and released on a summons.
Williams remains in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
