A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with an Egg Harbor Township school bus Monday afternoon.
The bus, with about 10 fourth- and fifth-graders on board, was traveling south on School House Road when it collided with a Harley Davidson heading west on Zion Road, Lt. Stephen Slusarski said.
The motorcycle struck the front driver’s side of the bus.
Motorcyclist David Kiker, 54, of the township, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus.
Neither the school bus driver, 55-year-old Maureen Milton, nor any of the children were injured.
The children were taken to another bus.
The area was shut down for about an hour while the crash was investigated and the scene was cleared.
Summonses are pending further investigation.
