A Philadelphia man was arrested with two knives after a runner in Wildwood Crest reported he was following her.
The unnamed woman was running on Seaview Avenue at about 5 a.m. Monday, when she noticed the man following her and confronted him, police said.
She then noticed he had a knife in his hand, and ran, calling police.
Brian Ciccimaro, 26, was found by Sgt. Christopher Webb and Cpl. William Gianakopoulos hiding behind a vehicle, according to the report.
He was found with two knives on him, police said.
Ciccimaro was also found to be under the influence of drugs, according to the report.
He was charged with unlawful possession of a weapons, possession of weapons for an unlawful purpose, possession/use of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment.
He is now in the Cape May County jail.
