Atlantic County is seeing a positive trend in COVID-19 cases, officials said Thursday.
In the last week, there have been four days with no new deaths reported.
Thursday added a dozen newly confirmed cases, bringing the county total to 2,853, with nearly 1,400 now cleared as recovered.
Five men ages 21 to 72, and seven women ages 18 to 68 have tested positive.
The municipal breakdown was two each in Egg Harbor City and Egg Harbor Township, and one each in Atlantic City, Brigantine, Buena Borough, Galloway, Hammonton, Linwood, Pleasantville and Weymouth.
Atlantic County will continue to provide testing by appointment for symptomatic county residents with a doctor’s prescription from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in Northfield behind the county’s public works yard at Route 9 and Dolphin Avenue. Appointments can be made online at www.aclink.org.
