A Philadelphia convicted in a deadly Atlantic City crime spree was sentenced to 98 years in prison Tuesday.
Police were called to the Sunset Inn at 8:44 p.m. Jan. 4, for the report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found Ky’Lee Haynes wounded inside the Sunset Inn. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus, where he was pronounced dead.
Bracey also was convicted of brandishing a gun at the Popeyes at 1740 Atlantic Ave., after he ordered food.
He was sentenced to 50 years in prison for felony murder in Haynes killing and must serve at least 42½ years of that under the No Early Release Act.
Bracey also was convicted of first-degree robbery, aggravated assault, criminal restraint, attempted witness tampering, along with several weapons offenses, including certain person not to possess a weapon.
All totaled, he must serve nearly 80 years in prison, acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill said.
