  • News

A man is wanted in the robbery of two Cape May County banks in a little over a week.
State Police released photo of the man asking the public for help identifying him.
He is accused of going into the Study Savings Bank in Dennisville at about 3:10 p.m. Dec. 30.
The suspect handed the teller a note for money to be placed on the counter, State Police said.
He then left the bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
At about 3:20 p.m. Thursday, the same man handed a similar note to a teller at TD Bank in Marmora, according to the report.
He again left that bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He is described as a 6-foot-tall white man with a medium build and gray hair about 40 to 60 years old.
The suspect was wearing a black knit cap, black gaiter style face covering, blue jeans, a black coat and black gloves.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Jersey State Police Woodbine Station Criminal Investigation Office at 609-861-5698. Anonymous tips are welcome.
