A child is hospitalized after a medical emergency at the Egg Harbor City Lake this weekend.
Police and medics were called to the lake at about 4:24 p.m. Sunday for the incident involving an 11-year-old, police said.
No details were given about the emergency.
The child was taken by ambulance to the AtlantiCare Medical Center for initial treatment and then transferred to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The gender and hometown of the child were not released.
