A Weymouth Township woman was killed in a one-car crash Thursday afternoon in Galloway Township.
Police were called to the area of Pomona Road and Park Avenue at 3:16 p.m., and found a Volkswagen Jetta disabled off the road, police said.
Donna Damato, 73, was heading south on Pomona when she went east off the road and struck a tree, according to the investigation.
Damato, who lived in Weymouth's Dorothy section, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where she died from her injuries.
The road was shut down for about three hours.
This crash is being investigated by Patrolmen Garrison, Stewart and Trout.
